Diril AD Cymbals
Diril AD cymbals were created to encompass the finest features of conventional and vintage Jazz cymbals and roll it all into one series. The Diril AD series cymbals is in the darker range, especially for a Diril cymbal which tend to be bright, with a very even shimmering wash that carries with a pure crisp tone. The wash builds well without overwhelming the stick and is simply musical, the Diril AD cymbals have become a favorite among our staff.
The Diril Ad cymbals are the newest series from Ibrahim Diril master cymbalsmith, who along with his brother developed the concept for the Meinl Byzance cymbals, and as you could expect some of those tones are also are found with the Diril AD series. The AD are set to be the pinnacal of Jazz cymbals. The wide lathe is incredibly beautiful in appearance and give these Diril cymbals a refined and very mature sound. The dark tone of the AD cymbals is subtle ,even understated, and truly brings out the best of the Diril stick over the dark wash. These cymbals will redefine what you listen for in a Jazz cymbal and are a must have for the gigging or recording Jazz artist.
